SORRY - THIS IS THE PAGE WE REALLY DIDN'T WANT ON OUR WEBSITE, BUT DUE TO A NUMBER OF ISSUES; WE HAVE HAD TO MAKE A FEW POINTS CLEAR:

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Arrival times for caravans & tents is 12noon - 7pm.    Departure time is by 11am.

NO Saturday arrivals or departures - unless a last minute booking - taken the night before arrival.

Provisional bookings will be held for 24 hours, after which time, a deposit or full payment is required (depending on when you are arriving & what you are staying in). If payment has not received within this period, the booking will be cancelled. No refunds will be given.

Sorry, no refunds under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If you cancel a booking, for any reason, we do not offer refunds - however; if over 1 month's notice has been given, and ONLY if we are able to fill all of the nights you had booked, we are happy to offer you an alternative dates.

Deposits. When paying a deposit; full payment will be required within 2 months of arrival. When you call us to pay the balance; payment for the days which you originally booked will be due; regardless of whether you would like to reduce the amount of days which you would like to stay. This is because while you have secured your booking with a deposit; we have not been able to book these dates with anyone else. You would not be happy if when you turned up, we had booked someone else on your dates - well it's the same difference with us. Hope this is understandable.

Whatever nights you have booked - you will have to pay for - even if you leave early (because it's raining for example). 

A £50 deposit secures a Tipi / Cowboy Camping Shack booking with the balance due 2 months before arrival.

FULL payment is now required with ALL caravan & tent bookings – we regret having to ask for this, but so many guests have let us down this year by booking a certain number of nights & then arriving & changing their nights, but not wanting to pay for the nights which they originally booked. We have been left with lots of empty nights which we could have filled by guests whom we had previously turned away.

WEEKEND BOOKINGS WILL NOT BE TAKEN DURING PEAK TIMES

(CONDITIONS & MINIMUM STAY APPLY)

Tent pitches are based on a maximum size of a 3-4 man tent (2.5m x 3.5m), with a maximum of 4 guests per pitch). If you are bringing a large tent; you will need to pay for 2 tent pitches. Please provide us with your tent size when booking.

We reserve the right to alter our site at any time. and in fact we do make regular changes to it. We would try our best to contact you if these changes did concern you, but this is not guaranteed.

When booking to stay at Pinewood; you agree to repect our property and any damages losses caused will be automatically cahrged to your bank card.

If you haven't paid with a bank card; a £40 deposit will be required upon check in. Obviously this will be refunded when depaturing - subject to the above.

Sorry - no stag parties.

Only small, quiet hen parties, unless the whole site is hired as a group booking.




While we are open 365 days a year - this only applies to the caravan touring area. Due to the past few terrible winters, we have made the decision not to rent out the cabins & Tipis during December, January and February (apart from special events).

During December, January and February  (and possibly March - depending on the weather) toilet facilities will not be available, so please do not book your caravan or motorhome on during these months if you can not manage with your own facilities.



  • Please check in at reception on arrival.
  • Electric is metered and you just pay for whatever you use.
  • Electric cards can be purchased from reception - £1, £5, £10, £20
  • Squirrels will help themselves to food, so please keep all food well wrapped.



  • 10pm - 8am - noise levels (including music) must be kept to a  minimum. You should not be able to hear other guests & nor should they be able to hear you. (this obviously doesn't apply for whole site hire of site).
  • The speed limit is 5MPH for the safety of all guests.
  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Please do not drop cigarette ends on the floor - disposal points are provided.
  • Smoking is NOT permitted in any of our public areas.
  • Ball games are allowed in the designated field ONLY.
  • Only well behaved quiet dogs please.
  • ALL dogs must be kept on a lead at ALL times and walked off site.
  • Please recycle as much as possible & do not leave us with your unwanted household items (chairs, air-beds, BBQ's etc.) - we can not keep low prices if we have to spend more on disposing these items.
  • The caravan area is adults only & children are not permitted in this area.
  • We must be notified in advance of any visiting guests.
  • Dogs/pets can NOT be left on their own.
  • Firepits must be agreed before lighting & must be off the ground.
  • Sorry no campfires.
  • All BBQ's for permitted but they must NOT touch the ground.
  • PLEASE CONSIDER OTHERS AT ALL TIMES


  • Car parking is in the first field you see as you drive in. Cars can be taken close by the Tipis (after checking in), but please unload and park back in the car parking area as soon as possible to make room for others arriving.
  • Smoking is NOT permitted inside any of our accommodation.
  • Please keep all Tipi/shack furniture inside & use your own chairs etc. outdoors
  • Ball games must be played in the playing field - not around the Tipis
  • Damages to the Tipis/furniture will automatically be charged to your card.
  • If you spill something & the carpets need cleaning- the bill be automatically be charged to your card.
